It's about looking at your entire system and how it holistically works together. So instead of piling on more. We are gonna dive into what could be working against you and learn how to heal it, how to fix it, how to improve it, so that you can see those two pink lines. Let's go. Hi, I'm Sophie Byfield and when I decided I was ready to be a mama, I thought it would be so easy.
Get off birth control, baby dance, like no [00:01:00] one's watching, and poof, I was pregnant. But like many of you, that wasn't my story. After months of negative tests, endless treatments and more supplements than you can count, I realized that getting pregnant isn't about fixing one piece of your fertility puzzle.
It's about bringing your whole body. Back into balance so it feels safe enough to conceive. And this is where we focus on what really matters. Healing your whole body so that you can see those two pink lines. Welcome to The Heel to Conceive podcast. Your fertility is a reflection of your full body health cys.
All of our systems in our body, they work together. And when one system is a little bit off or a little bit affected, it can have a domino effect. Blocking our blessing. Huh? Not allowing us to get [00:02:00] pregnant. One of the biggest disruptors of fertility and reproductive health is actually inflammation. I recently went to a conference where we were discussing healing and health of your body.
See, all of our body's systems are interconnected, and when one is out of balance, it can throw off the whole entire system. At this conference, they were focusing on inflammation. You see, inflammation is the body's defense mechanism. It protects us if we cut our finger, if, uh, we're chronically stressed out.
But what it does in the protection mechanism. Is throw other systems outta whack. Let that sink in. If your body is trying to heal itself and protect itself in one way, it can completely throw off. Your reproductive health [00:03:00] and fertility is a reflection of your whole body health sis and inflammation is the biggest disruptor to your chances at conceiving.
Inflammation is your biggest disruptor to your chances of bringing your baby home. Inflammation can affect your ovulation egg quality, your ability to eggplant and be the cause of miscarriage. That's all of the key steps to actually getting pregnant. And inflammation in your body can definitely have a huge impact on it.
So even if your cycle looks better. Um, even if you have the perfect cycle with clear ovulation, but your body's internal defense system is on and activated, you can delay your chances at conceiving cyst. My mind was blown when I got this information. Delay your chances and hold it back. Fertility is [00:04:00] more than just ovulation and baby dancing at the right time.
It is making sure your whole body is in a state of optimal health in order to conceive. Most people, your girl included, don't realize how much inflammation is impacting their body. So here are some signs and symptoms, digestive issues, bloating, constipation, diarrhea, and IBS symptoms. S hormonal imbalances.
This includes irregular cycles, PMS, acne and unexplained weight gain, low energy and brain fog. This is feeling sluggish, fatigue, unfocused, confused, frequent infections, reoccurring colds, UTIs, yeast infections. This all tells us that our immune system is off. And autoimmune conditions like Hashimoto's, PCOS, endometriosis are all [00:05:00] inflammation related.
If you are dealing with any of the signs and symptoms that I just read on the list, I would like you to know your body is screaming and waving a red flag at you to dig into what is going on. Addressing inflammation could really be the missing piece in your journey. So how do you start healing? Well, the good news is, sis, that you can start healing your inflammation challenges right now.
You don't need special diets or special products to help cleanse the system and bring it back into balance. So here's where you need to focus. Number one, remove all hidden inflammation triggers, reduce processed foods and refined sugars and excess dairy. Identify any food sensitivity. Swap oils like canola, soybean, and vegetable for olive oil, avocado oil, and coconut oil.
Number two is to support your gut health with [00:06:00] nutrition and lifestyle. That means eating more fiber and probiotics like leafy greens, flax seeds, and fermented foods like kimchi, sauerkraut and fer. You wanna make sure you have a nice balanced blood sugar. Okay, so either pairing healthy fats with proteins, cutting back on sugars in your diet, or implementing a sugar balancing supplement like minus etol and hydration and detox, add electrolytes are lemon water to support healthy digestion and detox pathways.
And number three is manage that stress girl and reduce any internal inflammation. Stress directly impacts gut health and hormones. Incorporating deep breathing, walking and gentle movement like yoga can really help to decrease your stress. Look at gut healing supplements, [00:07:00] and reduce coxin exposure. Swap cleaner skincare and household products and lighten your body's toxic load.
It's not about fixing your fertility or taking supplements and following all the trends. It's about building the optimal body for pregnancy and to conceive. So here's what you can do next. Your gut, your inflammation levels could be the thing that's holding you back. It could be the missing piece. When I went on my healing journey, part of my healing journey was removing all of the inflammation from my body.
But I didn't know that's what I was doing. But hey, it all worked out, didn't it? I saw my two pink lines in 12 weeks. So where do you start? How do you remove inflammation? Well, I gave you a big, long list of things to do. All I want you to do is to pick one. Are we removing processed foods, refined sugars?
Are we working on our gut health by adding more fiber and sauerkraut and keer? [00:08:00] Maybe we're putting in gentle exercise to reduce stress. Meditative breathing, meditation. Okay. All of these things come together in order to build the healthiest body possible, which heals the imbalances within the reproductive system and allows you to see those two pink lines.
Number two is paying attention to what your body is saying to you. If you drink a little bit too much dairy or you have a little bit too much dairy, in your time, in your diet, do you get bloated? Maybe grandma's homemade bread with that extra slab of butter is making your stomach a little bit uncomfortable.
All of these are signs and symptoms of what could be going on within your body and how your body is responding to the things you're putting inside. And number three, let's keep the momentum going. If you can keep implementing these tiny, small changes, they will stack up fast over time. Your fertility is a reflection of your overall health cys, and when [00:09:00] you start giving it exactly what it needs and listening to what it's telling you, you can make a huge difference.
Healing your body and reducing your inflammation is the fastest weight to those two pink ones. I have seen it with a number of my clients inside the heel to conceive track. Once they really start focusing on what their body is telling them and adjusting accordingly, they fast track to those two pink lines.
